Being from South, Whole video I felt like I have seen him somewhere untill he said He danced in Shakalaka Baby song😅. The guy who keeps rejecting girl's love in that song. Nice...

Am from Andhra, I grown up seeing Tamil movies, later when I see Telugu or Hindi movies , most of them would be copied from Tamil industry but still they never credited, on top of that all curse them....nowadays bakwas movies with no quality or good content making huge money and killing the quality....

His favorite song of Pooja Bhatt actually was my most favorite song that time. I listened to Tamil version (Ninaithale sang by Anuradha Sriram). Ahmed really knows music well... His voice too not bad. My favorite is Shakalaka Baby because his appearance was awesome.

Laqeer was the strangest film I saw which was directed by a dance choreographer and the entire cast had no interest in dancing!😁
It was later when he took the lesson from all this and made next film with skilled dancers like Shahid Kapoor and Tiger Shroff, but it also flopped miserably due to its weak script.
But yeah It's great that they present lyrical Bollywood and hip-hop culture in a more stylish manner than others!

Ahmed khan's experience/journey with ARR is also interesting...from choreography to direction its unbelievable transition...From Lakeer i came to know that some of the songs were remade in hindi after tamil...Memory recollecting-I bought Meenaxi & Lakeer albums together but Meenaxi were songs were listened regularly...

Nice interview with Ahmad after last week's memorabilia of his Taal works. But Moment of the Day could be also the one where he talks about his fav song he wanted to choreograph some Arr songs.
He being adamant to work with ARR is good but not every adamant director can extract that level work from ARR like Subhash Ghai, Shankar or Mani Ratnam. What I mean to say is he must have shown the same adamancy in getting the best songs from Rahman for his debut movie. Not that the ones in the album are bad but most of them are rehashed versions of his South hits which sound better in their originals.
Ofcrs, Ahmad is not the only guy who fancied for Rahman at that time and yet when the time came couldn't strike their combination so good. There are few such newbies from South too who dreamt of Rahman's music but couldn't get the most out of the Mozart when they got the chance. I hadn't watched Lakeer, so I wouldn't comment about his direction but yes his dances have set a new benchmark like he agreed of that song Mera Dil ka woh Shehzaada among numerous other hit numbers he did.
Dera Sir. You areright. Your suggested portion (Ahmed's favourite song) was an apt Moment of the day. In fact we discussed it a lot. Since that portion was coming right at the end of the episode... thus we decided against it. But yu are right... that was a very good option. Regards
